MAGALI
LAFLEUR

AS A DESIGNER, I AM THE VISUAL TRANSLATOR TO THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF IDEAS.

As an adopted Chinese-Canadian raised in Montréal, I bring authentic cultural insight to global campaigns. Having lived and traveled across multiple continents, I understand diverse markets and audiences intimately. My work spans leading brands including Canada Goose, Lexus, Bell, American Express, Subway, Maxi, Van Houtte, and Food & Drink Magazine, and more.

In my spare time, I am sipping on tea while knitting, practicing my ceramics stretching and breathing through yoga, and dancing with my dog while listing to 70s-80s salsa music.

A calming visual identity was crafted for a grief therapy clinic, conveying care and stability during mourning. Through unified soothing design elements across all platforms, a compassionate brand presence was created where clients feel understood and supported—transforming the visual language itself into a gesture of empathy.

3. Outpost Coffee Roasters
The revamp swings the opposite direction from their current branding — an oversized, blobby display typeface bleeds off each bag as texture more than text, distinct background colors per roast keep the line cohesive and shelf-distinguishable. Warm, graphic, and confident — serious without being sterile. The brand colours stayed similar with a couple of added colours to freshen up the brand.

4. Kabrita
LINK
Kabrita needed to communicate the benefits of goat milk formula without making direct health claims. We solved this with a talking baby goat character that answers parent questions with cheeky bleats, letting consumers reach their own conclusions while the brand stays legally compliant.

The coldest country builds the warmest community. Canada Goose brought its iconic parkas to a Courchevel gondola lounge, creating an immersive experience for luxury skiers who refuse to compromise.
